Corrosion at Crown Point, NY

When stopping for lunch at 'On The Way Cafe' In Crown Point, I came by this beautifully decayed ruin, composed in such a way that it nurtured my intrigue. All manner of interesting objects glinted through the charred debris as I tried to figure out its story.

Only one north facing wall survived; standing under a moody sky, the skelitoral remains cast a patchy light on the assemblage below. Sinks, boxes and crates, full of an assortment of bits and bobs littered the ground. I followed a trail of trinkets, and scattered fragments of the structure to the collapsed floor that sunk deep into the ground.

A table and chairs sat under a tree aside from the ruin; it seemed to spectate through over grown grass. Watching the shell of the construct being engulfed by nature: water filled pewter tankards and spiders cast webs across ice-cream scoops and teacups.
