Flat Fire in Peabody estate SW6 1UL Fulham London

Today two fire trucks and several police cars were deployed to the flat fire on Peabody Estate Lillie Road, children were being evacuated while wailing and cries could be heard - no fatalities or injuries reported so far.
The fire was caused by a malfunctioning fridge that caught alight after Peabody fails to uphold their duty of care to residence once more.
Since Peabody’s merger with Mosaic, their have been rising cases of residence living in poor, unsafe and unsupported conditions, the fire, negligence and failure to uphold safe accommodation for its residence was reminiscent of Grenfell fire in 2017 also started by an electrical fault in a fridge freezer.
